Desktop Services

Eleven has extensive experience in delivering Desktop equipment installation and configuration services. This includes all aspects of hardware and software configuration, installation, connectivity, commissioning and testing.

We have the expertise in all aspects of the desktop lifecycle including Asset Management, Disposal and Refresh. Delivery of these services is a combination of automated and manual processes whilst leveraging the use of management tools.

The major services are:

  • Technical Architecture and Solution Design over the entire environment;
  • Acquisition, Supply & Support of all Desktop infrastructure & software including the disposal of all aged equipment as agreed with the client;
  • Configuration and management of the entire client fleet of desktop & peripheral equipment;
  • Standard Operation Environment (SOE) design, redesign, administration & deployment to all sites metropolitan & regional;
  • Messaging Support via Oracle Collaboration Suite, Lotus notes, Exchange and Groupwise;
  • Specialised support for Executive facilities (eg Laptops, PDAs, mobile computing).

Server Management is a key strength of Eleven. Our management capability with respect to Server Management is extensive and broad due to the critical and varied nature of the work we do for a large number of clients.

Eleven’s Server Management includes monitoring, application of minor changes, patch management, incident management, problem management, capacity planning and backup and recovery.

Our Server Management provides services along ITIL process guidelines. The teams of Technical Consultants are divided across responsibilities for:

  • Level 2 and Level 3 Incident Management – under control of the Production Support Manager;
  • Problem, Change and Release Management – under the control of the Transformation Manager;
  • Service Level, Service Continuity, Capacity and Availability Management – under the control of the Service Optimisation Manager; and
  • Disaster Recovery – provisioning of recovery services and twice yearly tests.
